The Upcoming Overwatch DLC SkinsFor 2017 have Been Teased
It seems that new characters skins will be coming to “Overwatch” as game director Jeff Kaplan promised gaming fans some unique outfits for each character in the game.
Skins are one of the things that keep the excitement level high in Overwatch. While it does not do any stats buff on a character’s skill, being fashionable is just something that players love.
According to PVP Live, the Overwatch director himself, Jeff Kaplan iterated that 2017 will feature the most interesting skins of the game. He even went to tease the possibilities of these back in a Reddit AMA.
Spring Skins Incoming
It it seems that this isn’t the first time that Kaplan’s teased skins that are coming soon this year. For instance, both McCree and Widowmaker are expected to receive their own come spring season. Back in his Reddit AMA a few weeks ago.
Another DLC skin tease will likely happen in this year’s BlizzCon event as Kaplan stated in the forums that he liked some ideas to be incorporated in “Overwatch,” not to mention that he teased special BlizzCon loot boxes with special edition skins for the characters similar to Bastion and Genji last year.
In the official forum site of the game, he mentioned how grateful he is for the ideas coming straight from the community. Basically, the players were sharing ideas about what possible skins could be introduced, of course, Blizzard could also host a special BlizzCon event in-game to get fans hyped for any potential announcements, as well as a thank you to Overwatch fans.
“Overwatch” is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
