Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands narrowly beat PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn to become UK best-selling game for the month of March, although, of course, that was a single-format release. Horizon on PS4 was the best-selling individual SKU of the month.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild had to settle for third spot.
Mass Effect Andromeda, which launched on March 21, came in fourth while LEGO Worlds‘ fifth place round up the top 5, Speaking of new releases, two other newly-released games also managed to grab a spot in the top 20: 1-2-Switch (number 9) and NieR: Automata (number 17), Switch games sales accounted for 8.2% of all games sold last month in UK, making it the third most successful in regards to game sales, behind the PS4 and Xbox One.
Revenues from boxed game sales were up by 2 percent from last year and stood at £59 million. However, it’s worth noting that Nintendo Switch games come with a higher price tag and considering Switch games accounted for 8.2 percent of all games sold last month, it has a part to play in increased revenues.

The good news here is that this top five is all mostly quality, and all good games- plus obviously, all of these games sold reasonably well, so I suppose there isn’t much to complain about (though I naturally disagree with the order). Good going, UK.
