Things have become a little bit more exciting in Pokémon GO
In the past few days, according to the latest information released this week, it appears to point to a new Pokemon Go Shiny event being released by Niantic very soon.
With the recent success of the Easter Event, it seems that the development team are not holding back on changing core aspects of the Pokemon Go game.
Pokémon GO : Wild Pokémon IVs, Moves, Stats
Initially surfaced on Twitter and Reddit Trainers have found that multiple players have been catching the same Pocket Monsters that now have different IVs and movesets from each other, wild Pokemon no longer having the same core stats for every player that encounters them brings them in line with Shiny Pokemon, who function in a similar fashion.
As reported by GO Hub, there are four confirmed stats that are now unique per trainer: IVs, Moves, Weight and Height. It is important to note though, that these stats also take precedence on the trainer’s level.
This seems to point to a big new Pokemon Go update, probably tilted toward releasing new Shinies into the wild.
If we think of Magikarp and Gyarados shiny launches as a way for Niantic to test the waters, it seems perfectly reasonable that the development would want to put new measures in place before a mass launch.
Pokémon GO: Shiny Feature Coming Soon
In related Pokémon GO news, BGR reports that another set of Shiny Pokémon are believed to arrive to the game soon. It is worth noting that these type of pocket monsters were first introduced during the Water Festival. This is when Shiny Magikarp and Shiny Gyarados took the game by storm.
Some may even wonder what drove the team to make this huge revamp to the game. this could be a part of the anti-spoofing function , which was mentioned this week. However, for some, it is a clear indication that Niantic is preparing for the launching of the Shiny feature, which is expected to come in the latest major update.
Here’s why the people at the Pokemon Go Hub believe Shinies could be the next big thing: “This is in line with how Shiny Pokemon were introduced in the core series.
